Furious 7 Labor of Love

Late November, 2013, tragedy struck, a beloved man father and friend passed away and in that moment a franchise that has given us thrills, chills an all around good time for the past decade came to a screeching halt, because one of its key members dies a car accident in Los Angeles, California.  If you haven't guessed by the title I am speaking for the first time about Paul Walker.  He was a private man who had a beautiful daughter Meadow, two loving parents and brothers.  He pasted away after a benefit for his foundation Reach Out Worldwide.  This evening I went and saw his last movie that was ever made Furious Seven.  Yes it was done out of love and an effort for closure and to give the world the one thing he loved more than anything, entertainment, full throttle agility, edge of your seat action, and handsome men, and beautiful ladies.  Vin Diesel helped to rewrite and produce a movie, as a way to say good bye to his brother, who is in heaven but will never be forgotten.  The movie was filled with more action than is legal on a screen.  Tyrese brought his usual humor, Ludacris brought the sexy and perfect one liners, Michelle and Jordana just made the movie complete.  It would not have been a movie with out this cast to complete it from beginning to end.  Also, for the doubles you had Casey and Cody Walker to round it out.  This was about family and fighting for what you believe in and making enemies pay, and looking good doing it.  This movie is a must see, and I know this is the last one, but you can tell that the entire team on this movie put everything in to this to make it the best of the franchise.  I will never forget the first Fast & the Furious when you got introduced to the characters of Brian, Letty, Dom, and Mia, to the second one with Roman Pierce, and Tej, and bringing back Brian.  I know they tried to tie in Tokyo Drift with the entire franchise which I am definitely not mad about but it still has nothing on the rest of the films and the original people that became a family off screen.  You can see the chemistry and the love, and I personally have the greatest respect for what Vin Diesel did in the end of the movie, it was touching and truly from the heart.  They also brought in some heavy weights like Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, Djimon Hounsou.  Again this movie is definitely one to watch, but thats just My Opinion, whats yours???????

The Boy Next Door Review

Last night I saw the Premiere to Jennifer Lopez's new movie The Boy Next Door, and let me tell you the one romantic scene in the movie was HOT, HOT, HOT.  Was the guy obsessed YES, was he CONVINCING, absolutely.  Would I want to see him in another Movie?  HELL YES.  Ryan Guzman (Step Up All In, Step Up Revolution) who has only being playing in dance movies came with the drama, and proves he is a real actor not just a talented dancer.  Jennifer Lopez, who is a multi talented singer, actress, clothing designer, judge on American Idol, mother of a set of beautiful twins, Emme and Max and the list goes on, and on.  Plays a woman whose is confused and hurt for reasons you will find out in the movie, oh and did I mention lonely, when the boy next door gives her some attention, and then turns into a major crazy person.  The movie is funny, crazy and a bit left field.  It also has Hill Harper (The Skulls, Miss Dial), John Corbett (Sex In the City, Raising Helen), Kristin Chenoweth (GCB, Rio 2), Ian Nelson (Teen Wolf, Hunger Games).  The movie was directed by Rob Cohen who also directed the first of the multi million dollar franchise Fast and the Furious, XXX, and The Skulls.  So, if you know anything about the movies I have just listed they are full of high intensity drama, as well as action scenes, and uncoventional ways for people to get hurt or die, and lets not get on the cars in the movie.  This movie gave everything from suspense to intrigue to what is going to happen next even though you probably know and just want to be proven right.  Its no Oscar movie by far but it is something fun to go watch in the theatre and get a good laugh and a scream or two out of it as well.  This is just My Opinion, what is yours????

Addicted the Move Review

Welcome to the World of a woman who is iinsatiable and doesn't understand the reason why? Going to a therapist doesn't work either.   What am I talking about you may ask,  I will tell you its the movie Addicted with Sharon Leal playing Zoe who has a seemingly perfect life.  Perfect husband named Jason played by Boris Kodjoe and two beautiful children. Her husband loves her and she has an amazing business that she has built from the ground up. An amazing staff that would do anything for her. She meets an artist and this where everything changes.  This is a little back story on this movie.

The movie is based on a best selling novel written by Zane, and do I think the movie is going to spend in a theater.  If you have a boyfriend or even husband and you want to put some spice back into your life, this might be the date night you want to take.  Even if its with your girls to have a girls night I would definitely suggest a different movie.   I mean the men are hot like Tyson Beckford, and new comer to the scene Brandon Gonzales, and with these amazing sexy men the scenes are even hotter but if your single and don't have a man to come home to this might not be the movie to watch.  It can definitely leave you hot and bothered.  But I will have to say the ending of the movie left much to be desired.  I was expecting so much more.  It just seemeed like it ended just to end not because  it was the end of the story.  It begs the question why???? What is your opinion,  because this is just My Opinion.

Revenge Season Premiere

Revenge is loosely depicted on the Count of Monte Cristo, Emily Thorne came back to her homested to exact revenge on the people who wronged her. Emily has taken over Grayson Manor, mad it her own. But there are lies on top of lies still to come. I have been waiting all summer to see this show and it left me very underwhelmed.  This show has an amazing cast, leading the pack is Emiky Van Camp you may remember her in Brothers & Sisters, she plays Emily Thorne,  and Victoria Grayson whom you may recollect from Twelve Moneys.  Needless to say these two amazing actresses do not like each other one bit.  Exacting Revenge on each other.  Normally their banter is amazing.  Maybe I should blame the writing and not the acting, I mean they can only do what is given to them.  I might watch a few more episodes before I came back and say I will no longer be watching one of my favorite shows.   Now this is only My Opinion,  let me know what is yours????

Black•ish Season Premiere

Anthony Anderson and Laurence Fishburne has brought a new comedy series about an African American family trying to get by in white america.  Its funny and entertaining,  with awesome one liners. This show is going back to the old school of comedy with a series feel. Laurence Fishburne is wonderful and I have to say I like him in this new role. Don't get me wrong, he is one of the best actors in the business but its good to have him come out ofthe box of being an angry black man and now he is a interesting father to Anthony Anderson.  Anthony Anderson is trying to navigate and be a good father and he really doesn't really know and is stumbling through it with his doctor wife played by Traci Ellis Ross.  Tge kids on the show are funny as well trying to fit in.  This is just My Opinion on the show what is yours???? Love to hear you theories on the new #1 comedy on television.

GOTHAM Series Premiere

Sorry for the late post on this new series, but I had to rewatch the episode to make sure I got every tidbit of detail.  Lets back track a minute to talk about what this series is even about.  Gotham is about how Commissioner Gordon got his humble beginnings in Gotham, and of course it begins with the murder of Bruce Wayne parents, and figuring out who did. While working in a corrupt system.  Its also about proving himself, whike figuring out where he belongs,  and introducing his before wife Barbara.  It shows a interesting Gotham city and it has the major original villians and some new. Poison Ivy, Catwoman, the Penguin, and the Riddler, and lastly Don Falconi. There are also some new charaters like Fish Mooney, and Jim Gordon's partner Harvey Bullock.  The people who play these roles are good, but the one that stood out the most was Fish Mooney played but Jada Pinkett Smith, she brought the fire and passion, so did Ben Mckenzie also brought the heat as the new Jim Gordon, the mini Bruce Wayne played by series newcomer David Mazouz, he brought the mystery of Bruce Wayne.  Gotham has alot of possibility,  it coukd go in many different ways and you will have to watch and see what happens next just like me.  This is just My Opinion on the new and tantilizing show, what is yours????

New Fall Season is Starting

In my next few blogs I will be talking about the new fall season of television shows, and also some shows that are simply coming back for another season. Gotham that is premiering tonight on Fox, Blackish that is coming to ABC on Wednesday nights, How to Get Away With Murder also coming to ABC on Thursday nights, after Scandal, and lets not forget about Revenge on Sunday.   Don't worry I will be blogging about other networks and their shows like the CW with multiple shows coming back like Vampire Diaries on Thursday nights, The Originals on Monday, Arrow on Wednesday, Supernatural on Tuesday nights.  There are many shows coming and if you guys have any to add please leave them down below.
